SNAPSEP™ is designed for real-world waste, including contaminated and mixed waste. While typical recycling requires clean plastic, SNAPSEP™ processes unclean waste through chemical methods, transforming it into fuel in a single step. This capability allows us to tackle South Africa’s growing waste problem with maximum efficiency.

Separation (SEP): Waste enters the process and is separated into recyclable and convertible streams. Metals, glass, and other recyclables are extracted for conventional recycling.

Conversion (SNAP): The remaining waste—primarily plastics, food scraps, and paper—is broken down through thermal cracking. This process uses heat to create smaller, valuable molecules, producing fuel products like diesel and gasoline or fertilizer.
